1. Product Introduction

The pump includes a 3/4" NH inlet for garden hoses, a thermal release valve, an unloader, and an M22x1.5 pressure washer hose outlet. It also features a dedicated port for soap or chemical injection.

2. Compatibility

This vertical pressure washer pump is compatible with many popular brands including RYOBI, Honda, Briggs and Stratton, Craftsman, Subaru, PowerStroke, Simpson, and Homelite. It is designed for most Rear Outlet 180-196cc engines at 6.5-7hp.

3. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to install your new M MINGLE Vertical Pressure Washer Pump. It is recommended to have a second person assist during installation.

  1. Prepare Your Power Washer: Ensure the power washer engine is off and cooled down. Disconnect any existing pump or hoses.
  2. Prepare the New Pump: Gather the new pump, bolts, washers, and keys provided in the package.
  3. Insert Center Shaft Key: Carefully insert the center shaft key into the engine's shaft.
  4. Align and Mount the Pump: Align the mounting holes on the new pump with the corresponding key on the power washer frame. Slide the pump onto the engine shaft.
  5. Secure the Bolts: Insert the provided bolts through the mounting holes and secure them with washers and nuts. Tighten the bolts securely using a wrench or screwdriver.
  6. Connect Inlet and Outlet: Attach the 3/4" Garden Hose Quick Connect Fitting to the pump's inlet and the M22-14mm Pressure Washer Adapter to the pump's outlet. Connect your garden hose and pressure washer hose.
  7. Connect Chemical Hose: If using, connect the pure chemical hose to the soap/chemical injection port.

4. Operating Instructions

Once the pump is securely installed and all connections are made, you can begin operating your pressure washer.

  • Pressure Output: The pump provides a maximum pressure of 3000 PSI and a maximum flow rate of 2.4 GPM. Optimal performance is typically achieved within the range of 2400-2800 PSI.
  • Temperature: The maximum water temperature for operation is 140°F.
  • Unloader Valve: The adjustable unloader allows you to increase or reduce the pressure to match the engine's requirements.
  • Chemical Injection: Use the dedicated chemical injection port for applying detergents or cleaning solutions.

5. Maintenance

  • Durability: Upgraded technical surfacing piston and bearing ensure durability and reliable performance for up to 150 hours of use.

6. Troubleshooting

For common issues, please refer to the following:

  • Low Pressure: Check for kinks in the hose, ensure the water supply is adequate, and verify that the unloader valve is correctly adjusted.
  • Leaks: Ensure all connections are tight. The pump features a double-seal system to prevent leaks; if persistent leaks occur, inspect seals and connections.
  • Pump Not Engaging: Verify the engine is running correctly and the pump shaft is properly seated and secured.
  • Overheating: The thermal release valve is designed to protect the pump from overheating. If the pump frequently overheats, ensure adequate water flow and proper ventilation.
