The pre-installed downrod is 5 inches. If you prefer a different length, follow these steps to replace it. Remove the long and short screws from the downrod ball, push down the downrod ball, and remove the pre-installed downrod. Thread the horizontal bar through the new downrod ball and insert the screw into the penetrable downrod side, then the non-penetrable side. Insert the desired downrod into the downrod ball downward.

6. Assembling the Downrod

Insert the canopy, canopy cover, and then the yoke cover to the downrod. Make sure all wires go through the same side of the downrod. Align the slots before inserting the downrod pin, avoiding wires to prevent blockage. Secure the downrod with the provided screws.

7. Hanging the Ceiling Fan

Carefully lift the fan assembly and hang it onto the ceiling bracket. Make sure the downrod ball slot matches the inner lock of the bracket. Rotate the downrod left and right to ensure it securely locks into the groove. Connect the electrical wires: green wire to ground, white to neutral, and black to live. Use wire nuts to secure connections. Rotate the canopy counterclockwise to ensure you hear a "click" sound, then push the canopy cover up until it engages.
