5. Setup
5.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery cover on the back of the radio.
- Slide or unclip the battery cover to open it.

5.2 Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the radio's battery.
- Connect the provided Type-C USB charging cable to the Type-C charging hole on the radio.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The charging indicator light (if present) will illuminate. Once fully charged, the light may change color or turn off.
- Charging time may vary. Disconnect the charger once charging is complete.

5.3 Attaching the External Antenna
For improved Shortwave (SW) reception, connect the external antenna.
- Locate the external antenna port on the radio (refer to the Product Overview diagram).
- Plug the external antenna into this port.
- Extend the antenna fully for best reception.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off
To power on the radio, rotate the volume knob clockwise. To power off, rotate it counter-clockwise until it clicks.
6.2 Mode Selection
Use the Working Mode Selector switch to choose between the following modes:
- RADIO Mode: For listening to AM, FM, or SW broadcasts.
- BT (Bluetooth) Mode: For connecting to Bluetooth audio devices.
- M.PLAY (TF Card) Mode: For playing audio files from a TF (MicroSD) card.
6.3 Radio Operation (RADIO Mode)
- Switch to RADIO mode.
- Band Selection: Use the band switch (e.g., FM/MW/SW) to select the desired frequency band.
- Tuning: Rotate the Coding Platform Pulley to manually tune to a specific station. The frequency will be displayed on the Dial Indicating Display.
- Automatic Search and Store: Press the auto-search button (refer to the diagram for location, if available, or general button) to automatically scan and save available stations. The radio can store up to 110 stations.
- Antenna: Extend the telescopic antenna for FM and SW reception. For AM, the internal antenna is usually sufficient, but the external antenna can also be used for SW.

- Switch to BT mode. The radio will enter pairing mode, indicated by an audible prompt or flashing indicator light.

6.5 TF Card Playback (M.PLAY Mode)
