Huepar LR-5RG Laser Detector

The Huepar LR-5RG is a digital laser detector designed to work with Huepar pulse line lasers, extending their working range.

4. Setup

4.1 Powering the Laser Level

Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment and insert the 3.7V / 5200mAh Li-ion battery, ensuring correct polarity.
Charging: Connect the Type-C power cord to the laser level and the power adapter, then plug into a power outlet. The battery indicator will show charging status.

4.2 Mounting the Laser Level

The B03CG Pro offers versatile mounting options:

Magnetic Pivoting Base: Attach the laser level to the included 360° magnetic pivoting base. This base can be securely mounted to metal surfaces or hung on a screw/nail.
Tripod Mounting: The laser level features a 1/4"-20 mount thread on its bottom, allowing it to be mounted onto a standard tripod (tripod not included).

5. Operating the Laser Level

5.1 Self-Leveling Mode

When the pendulum is unlocked, the laser level will automatically self-level. If the device is out of its ±4° leveling range, the laser lines will flash rapidly to indicate an out-of-level condition. Adjust the position of the laser level until the lines stop flashing and become steady.

5.2 Manual/Tilt Mode

To use the laser level at any angle (e.g., for stair railing installation), lock the pendulum. This disables the self-leveling function and allows the laser lines to be projected at a fixed angle. The lines will not flash in this mode, indicating that they are not self-leveled.

5.3 Laser Line Switching Modes

The B03CG Pro allows you to select different laser line combinations based on your application needs. Press the mode button to cycle through the available options:

3 x 360° Laser Lines (all lines on)
Horizontal + Vertical Lines
360° Horizontal Line only
360° Vertical Line only (one or two vertical lines)

5.4 Pulse Mode with LR-5RG Detector

For outdoor use or in bright light conditions, activate the Pulse Mode on the laser level by pressing the dedicated Pulse Mode Button. This enables the laser level to work with the Huepar LR-5RG Laser Detector, extending the working range up to 200 feet.

IMPORTANT: It is NECESSARY to turn ON the Pulse Mode of the Laser Level when using it with the Huepar LR-5RG laser receiver.

6. Operating the LR-5RG Laser Detector

6.1 Detector Features

Dual LCD Display: Provides visual feedback on both the front and back of the detector.
Backlight Feature: Illuminates the LCD for clear viewing in low-light conditions.
Volume Adjustable: Cycle through loud, soft, or mute buzzer tones.
Accuracy Adjustable: Switch between high and low accuracy settings for precise or quick measurements.

6.2 Using the Detector

When the laser level is in Pulse Mode, move the LR-5RG detector along the desired surface. The detector will provide visual and audible signals to help you locate the laser line:

Arrows on LCD: Indicate whether the detector needs to be moved up or down to align with the laser line.
Beeping Tones:

Slower beeping tone: Detector is far from the laser line.
Fast beeping tone: Detector is getting closer to the laser line.
Continuous beeping tone: Detector is precisely on the laser line.

7. Maintenance

Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the device. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Keep the laser output windows clean for optimal performance.
Storage: Store the laser level and detector in their hard carry case in a dry, dust-free environment when not in use. Remove batteries if storing for extended periods.
Battery Care: Recharge the Li-ion battery regularly, even if not in use, to maintain its lifespan. Avoid fully discharging the battery.
Calibration Check: Periodically check the calibration of your laser level to ensure accuracy. Refer to the manufacturer's website or contact support for calibration procedures if needed.

8. Troubleshooting
