3. Product Overview

3.1 Receiver (UG-240)

The receiver unit processes the wireless signals from the bodypack transmitters and outputs the audio. It features a robust metal chassis for durability and includes multiple antennas for stable signal reception.

3.2 Bodypack Transmitters

Each bodypack transmitter is designed for hands-free operation, connecting to either a lavalier or headset microphone. They are powered by AA batteries and feature an LED display for frequency and battery status.

4. Setup Instructions

4.1 Installing Batteries in Bodypack Transmitters

  1. Open the battery compartment on each bodypack transmitter.
  2. Insert 2 AA batteries into each bodypack, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment securely.

4.2 Connecting the Receiver

  1. Connect the included power adapter to the receiver's 'Power Input' port and then to a wall outlet.
  2. Attach the four antennas to the corresponding antenna ports on the rear of the receiver.
  3. Connect the receiver's audio output (either the 6.35mm Mix Output or individual XLR outputs) to your audio mixer, amplifier, or PA system.

4.3 Powering On and Automatic Frequency Scan (IR Sync)

  1. Turn on the receiver using the power button on the front panel.
  2. Turn on each bodypack transmitter.
  3. To initiate an auto-scan for available frequencies, long-press the 'SET' button on the receiver for approximately 2 seconds. The receiver will scan and display an available frequency.
  4. Once the 'IR' prompt appears on the receiver's display, vertically aim the IR window of a bodypack transmitter towards the IR window on the receiver. The receiver and transmitter will synchronize, and the display on both units will show the same channel and frequency.
  5. Repeat the IR synchronization process for each bodypack transmitter.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Using the Microphones

Connect either a lavalier microphone or a headset microphone to the 3-pin mini XLR jack on each bodypack transmitter. Ensure the connection is secure.

5.2 Adjusting Volume

The receiver features individual volume controls for each microphone channel. Adjust these knobs to achieve the desired audio level. Further volume adjustments can be made on your connected audio mixer or amplifier.

5.3 Screen Lock Function

The receiver includes a screen lock function to prevent accidental changes to settings during operation. Refer to the receiver's display for instructions on activating and deactivating this feature.

5.4 Multi-set Operation

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

Wipe the receiver and bodypack transmitters with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the finish or internal components.

6.2 Battery Care

Remove batteries from the bodypack transmitters if the system will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage and damage. Use high-quality AA batteries for optimal performance.

6.3 Storage

Store the system in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep components in their original packaging or a protective case when not in use.
