Setup
- Install Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control. Insert two AAA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery compartment securely.
- No Programming Required: This replacement remote control is pre-programmed and does not require any additional setup or pairing with your Ecovacs Deebot M87 or M88 vacuum cleaner. It is designed to work immediately upon battery installation.
Operating Instructions
Ensure the vacuum cleaner is powered on and within range of the remote control. Point the remote control directly at the vacuum cleaner for optimal signal transmission.
- To Start Cleaning: Press the ⏸ (Play/Pause) button.
- To Pause Cleaning: Press the ⏸ (Play/Pause) button again during a cleaning cycle.
- To Send to Charging Dock: Press the ⌂ (Home) button.
- To Perform Spot Cleaning: Press the ⌖ (Spot Clean) button.
- To Power On/Off: Press the Ⓘ (Power) button.
Maintenance
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the remote control's response becomes sluggish or stops working. Always use new batteries of the specified type (AAA).
- Cleaning: Wipe the remote control with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
