1. Introduction

3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation and Charging

The camera uses a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use.

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the camera.
  2. Insert the Lithium-Ion battery, ensuring the contacts align correctly.
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.
  4. Connect the camera to a power source using the provided USB charging cable. The charging indicator light will illuminate.
  5. Charging is complete when the indicator light turns off.

3.2 Memory Card Installation

The camera supports a 16GB memory card (included). A memory card is required to store photos and videos.

  1. Locate the memory card slot, usually near the battery compartment.
  2. Insert the memory card with the metal contacts facing the correct direction (refer to the diagram inside the slot).
  3. Push the card gently until it clicks into place. To remove, push the card again until it springs out.

3.3 Attaching the Wrist Strap

3.4 Replacing Faceplates

  1. Using the provided screwdriver, carefully remove the small screws securing the current faceplate.
  2. Gently detach the faceplate from the camera body.
  3. Align the desired new faceplate with the camera body and secure it with the screws. Do not overtighten.

4. Operating the Camera

4.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the Power button to turn the camera on or off. The 3.0" IPS LCD screen will activate.

4.2 Basic Photography (Still Images)
