Operating Instructions
The Merax Twin Bed Frame is designed for simple and versatile use.
- Placement: Position the bed frame in your desired location, ensuring it is on a flat and stable surface. The open concept design allows for flexible room arrangement.
- Mattress Compatibility: This frame is designed for a standard twin-sized mattress. As slats are not included, a box spring or foundation is required to support the mattress.
- Decoration: The house-shaped roof provides an excellent opportunity for creative decoration, such as draping fabrics, adding string lights, or hanging lightweight ornaments to personalize the space.
Maintenance
Proper care will extend the life of your Merax Twin Bed Frame.
- Cleaning: Wipe down the frame with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they may damage the varnished finish.
- Fastener Check: Periodically (e.g., every 3-6 months) check all screws and bolts to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten if necessary to maintain stability and prevent squeaking.
- Avoid Excessive Moisture: Keep the bed frame in a dry environment to prevent wood warping or damage.
- Weight Limit: Do not exceed the recommended weight capacity for a twin bed frame.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your Merax Twin Bed Frame, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Bed frame is wobbly or unstable. | Loose fasteners; uneven floor. | Ensure all screws and bolts are fully tightened. Move the bed to a level surface or use shims if necessary. |
| Missing parts or hardware. | Packaging error. | Contact Merax customer service immediately at csr@merax.com with your order details. |
