7. Troubleshooting
Before contacting customer support, please refer to the following common issues and their potential solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit does not turn on. | No power supply; Remote control batteries low/dead. | Check power connection and circuit breaker; Replace remote control batteries. |
| Insufficient cooling/heating. | Dirty air filter; Obstruction of air inlet/outlet; Room too large for unit capacity; Windows/doors open. | Clean air filter; Remove obstructions; Ensure room size is within unit capacity (24000 BTU for up to 1500 sq.ft.); Close windows/doors. |
| Water leakage from indoor unit. | Drain hose clogged or improperly installed; Unit not level. | Check and clear drain hose; Ensure unit is installed level. |
| Unusual noise during operation. | Loose parts; Fan obstruction; Normal operating sounds (e.g., refrigerant flow). | Check for loose components; Ensure no obstructions in fan; Some sounds are normal. |
| Remote displays Celsius instead of Fahrenheit. | Incorrect remote model or setting. | Some remote models may require a specific version (e.g., YKR-H/101E) for Fahrenheit display. Check manual or contact support for remote settings. |
| Temperature on AC remote differs from home thermometer. | Remote displays AC's output temperature, not actual room temperature. | This is normal. Use iFEEL mode for localized temperature sensing. |
If the problem persists after attempting these solutions, please contact Antifir customer support for further assistance.
