2. Important Safety Instructions

4. Setup

Unpacking:

First-Time Cleaning:

1. Before first use, wash the carafe, brew basket, and nylon filter in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
2. Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
3. For a preliminary rinse, fill the water tank to the MAX level with clean water and run a brew cycle without coffee grounds. Discard the water.

Placement:

• Place the coffee maker on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface.

• Do not place it near hot surfaces or open flames.

5. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to brew coffee with your Wonderchef Onyx Brew Coffee Maker:

1. Fill Water Tank: Open the lid of the water tank and fill it with fresh, cold water up to the desired level indicated on the water level indicator. Do not exceed the MAX line.
2. Add Coffee Grounds: Place the nylon brew filter into the brew basket. Add the desired amount of coarse-ground coffee powder to the filter. A general guideline is one tablespoon of coffee per cup (100ml).
3. Position Carafe: Ensure the empty glass carafe is placed correctly on the warming plate, directly beneath the brew basket.
4. Start Brewing: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. Press the ON/OFF switch to start the brewing process. The indicator light will illuminate.
5. Wait for Brew: Water will heat up and drip through the coffee grounds into the carafe. The anti-drip system will prevent spills if you temporarily remove the carafe during brewing.

1. Fill the water tank with a mixture of white vinegar and water (1:2 ratio).
