5.3 Using the HPF EQ Switch
The HPF (High-Pass Filter) EQ switch is designed to help your sound cut through a dense or "muddy" stage mix by reducing low-frequency content. Engage this switch if your instrument's sound is getting lost in the mix, particularly in live performance settings.
5.4 Ground-Lift Switch
If you experience hum or buzzing noises, especially when connecting to different power sources or other audio equipment, engage the Ground-Lift switch. This can help eliminate ground loop issues.
5.5 Volume Control
Adjust the individual Volume 1 and Volume 2 knobs for each input to achieve the desired balance between connected instruments or audio sources. The overall output level can then be controlled by your connected modeling processor or the master volume of your sound system.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the unit. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
- Storage: When not in use, store the FRFR108 MKII in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
