2. Safety Information

4. Setup and Installation

The CT Copper Tailor Range Hood is designed for wall-mount installation and can be configured for either ducted or ductless (recirculating) operation.

4.1 Dimensions and Placement

Ensure adequate space above your cooking area. The adjustable chimney cover is suitable for 8 to 9-foot ceilings.

4.2 Ventilation Options

Ducted Operation: Requires a 6-inch round duct for external venting. Ensure the ducting is properly sealed and routed to the outside.

Ductless (Recirculating) Operation: For ductless use, carbon filters are required (sold separately). These filters remove odors and recirculate the air back into the kitchen.

4.3 Chimney Installation

The range hood comes with an adjustable chimney cover. Install the upper and lower chimney sections according to the detailed instructions in the included user manual to fit your ceiling height.

5. Operating Instructions

The range hood features a touch control panel and can also be operated via the included remote control.

5.1 Control Panel Functions

The touch control panel allows easy access to all functions:

  • Power Button: Turns the range hood on or off.
  • Fan Speed: Adjusts the fan speed through 4 settings (low to high) to suit your cooking needs.
  • Light Button: Controls the LED lights, offering 2 brightness levels to illuminate your cooking area.
  • Timer Button: Activates the timer function for automatic shut-off.

5.2 Remote Control Operation

For added convenience, the range hood can be operated using the remote control. The remote duplicates the functions available on the touch control panel.

5.3 LED Lighting

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your range hood.

6.1 Cleaning Baffle Filters

The stainless steel baffle filters are designed to trap grease and oil effectively. They are washable and detachable for easy cleaning.

To clean:

  1. Press the latch on each filter to release it.
  2. Remove the filters and wash them by hand with hot, soapy water or place them in a dishwasher.
  3. Allow filters to dry completely before re-installing.

Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that could damage the antique copper finish.
