Model A: 12V Vehicle Immobilizer System
Product Overview
The CHADWICK Relay-Shaped Automobile Hidden Lock is an intelligent anti-theft device designed to immobilize your vehicle by controlling the oil circuit. This system offers a non-destructive installation by replacing an existing relay, providing an effective layer of security for 12V gasoline vehicles.

Important Compatibility Note
Before installation, it is crucial to identify the correct relay model for your vehicle. This product is available in Model A and Model B connector types, which are suitable for different car models. Ensure you select the model that precisely matches your car's existing relay. If your vehicle's relay does not correspond to either Model A or Model B, this product is not compatible.
This device is exclusively designed for 12V gasoline vehicles. It controls only the oil circuit or general circuit to prevent engine start; it does not control doors, direction lights, or other vehicle components.

Setup and Installation
The CHADWICK Hidden Lock is designed for fast and convenient non-destructive installation, requiring no modification to the original car wiring. It directly replaces the original car's oil pump relay.
Installation Steps:
- Identify the correct relay: Locate your vehicle's oil pump relay. Refer to your car's service manual or fuse box diagram to confirm its location and type (Model A or Model B).
- Ensure compatibility: Verify that the CHADWICK device (Model A) matches the connector type of your vehicle's original relay.
- Replace the relay: Carefully remove the original oil pump relay and insert the CHADWICK Relay-Shaped Hidden Lock into the same socket. Ensure it is securely seated.
- Battery Installation (Remote): The remote controllers require 1 CR2032 battery each (included). Ensure batteries are correctly installed with the proper polarity.
Important: Keep the original car relay after installation for potential future use or troubleshooting.

Operating Instructions
The CHADWICK Hidden Lock operates in two primary modes: Automatic and Manual. The device automatically cuts off fuel after the engine is turned off, preventing unauthorized starts.
Automatic Mode:
In Automatic Mode, the system senses the presence of the remote controller. When the owner approaches the vehicle (sensing distance approximately 15 meters), the oil path is automatically opened, allowing the engine to start. When the owner leaves the vehicle, the oil circuit is automatically disconnected.

Manual Mode:
In Manual Mode, you must press the remote control button before starting the engine. If the engine is started without pressing the remote control button, the engine will stop after approximately 25 seconds. To switch the remote to Manual Mode, press the remote button once before starting the engine.
Function Test:
After installation, perform the following test:
- Start the engine without pressing the remote control button (if in Manual Mode) or without the remote nearby (if in Automatic Mode).
- Observe if the engine stops after approximately 25 seconds.
- Now, with the remote control button pressed (Manual Mode) or the remote nearby (Automatic Mode), start the car normally. If the car starts and runs without stopping, the product is correctly installed and functioning.
There is a relative delay of 3-5 seconds when replacing the oil pump relay.
Troubleshooting
- Engine does not start or stops unexpectedly:
- Ensure the remote control battery (CR2032) is not depleted. Replace if necessary.
- Verify that the remote control is within the sensing distance (approx. 15 meters) if in Automatic Mode.
- If in Manual Mode, confirm that the remote button was pressed before attempting to start the engine.
- Check that the CHADWICK relay is securely seated in the relay socket.
- Confirm that the installed relay model (Model A) is indeed compatible with your vehicle's original relay type.
- System not responding to remote:
- Replace the remote control battery.
- Ensure no strong electromagnetic interference is present near the vehicle.
- Accidental engine shutdown:
- This is a normal function if the remote is not detected (Automatic Mode) or the button is not pressed (Manual Mode) after 25 seconds of engine start. Ensure proper operation according to the chosen mode.
