3.1 Headset Components

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Headset

Before first use, fully charge the headset. The charging time is approximately 2 hours.

1. Using the Charging Base: Place the headset onto the charging base. Ensure the charging contacts align. The indicator light on the headset will show charging status.
2. Using the USB-C Cable: Connect the USB-C cable to the headset's charging port and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter).

4.2 Powering On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the MFB for approximately 3 seconds until you hear a power-on prompt and the indicator light flashes.
• Power Off: Press and hold the MFB for approximately 3 seconds until you hear a power-off prompt and the indicator light turns off.

4.3 Connecting via Bluetooth (for Mobile Devices/Laptops with Bluetooth)

1. Ensure the headset is powered off.
2. Press and hold the MFB for approximately 5-7 seconds until the indicator light flashes red and blue alternately, indicating pairing mode.
3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for new devices.
4. Select "EMK890BTS" from the list of available devices.
5. Once connected, the indicator light will flash blue slowly.

4.4 Connecting via USB Dongle (for PC/Laptop)

The USB dongle provides a dedicated, stable connection for your computer.

1. Plug the USB dongle into an available USB port on your computer.
2. Power on the headset. It will automatically attempt to connect to the dongle.
3. The indicator light on the dongle and headset will show a solid blue light when successfully connected.
4. On your computer's sound settings, ensure "EMK890BTS" is selected as the input and output device.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Wearing the Headset

The microphone boom is 330° rotatable, allowing you to wear the headset on either your left or right ear. Adjust the headband for a comfortable and secure fit.

5.2 Call Management

• Answer/End Call: Press the MFB once.
• Reject Call: Press and hold the MFB for approximately 2 seconds.
• Redial Last Number: Double-press the MFB.
• Mute/Unmute Microphone: Use the dedicated mic mute switch on the microphone boom.

5.3 Volume Control

• Volume Up: Press the '+' button.
• Volume Down: Press the '-' button.

5.4 Media Playback

• Play/Pause: Press the MFB once.

6. Maintenance

• Clean the headset regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
