5. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to set up your automatic pill dispenser:
- Unpack and Position: Open the package and remove the automatic pill dispenser. Place it on a flat, stable surface.
- Install Batteries: Open the battery compartment and insert the 4 AA batteries provided.
- Remove and Fill Tray: Press the release button to lift out the removable tray. Fill the 28 compartments with your medications, ensuring they fit properly.
- Replace Tray: Carefully replace the tray, aligning the tabs with their slots.
- Set Current Time:
- Press the 'Menu' button once to access the current time setting interface.
- Press the 'Setup' button to initiate the process of setting the current time.
- When the clock on the screen flashes, use the '+' or '-' buttons to adjust the time.
- Press the 'Menu' button to switch to setting the minutes.
- Press the 'Menu' button again to confirm the time and return to the main interface. Ensure AM/PM settings are correct.

- Set Medication Schedule (Alarms):
- Press the 'Menu' button twice to navigate to the alarm setting interface.
- Press the 'Setup' button to enter the alarm selection interface, where the alarm number will flash.
- Use the '+' or '-' buttons to select the alarm number you wish to set (up to 6 alarms).
- Press the 'Menu' button to enter the settings for the chosen alarm.
- Use the '+' or '-' buttons to set the alarm time.
- Press the 'Menu' button to switch to setting the minutes.
- Press the 'Menu' button again to confirm the settings and return to the alarm number selection interface.
- To skip setting further alarms, press the '+' button. Skipping the last alarm will return you to the main interface.

- Test Alarms: Ensure alarms are correctly set and audible.
6. Operating Instructions
Once set up, operating your pill dispenser is straightforward:
- Alarm Notification: When it is time for a dose, the dispenser will sound an alarm and a bright blue light will flash.
- Retrieve Pills: To retrieve your pills, turn the dispenser upside down. The smooth sliding medication retrieval window will open, allowing access to the correct dose. The alarm will stop upon retrieval.
- Adjusting Volume:
- Press the 'Menu' button three times to access the volume selection interface.
- Press the 'Setup' button to begin adjusting the volume.
- When the volume icon flashes, use the '+' and '-' buttons to toggle between mute and audible sound levels.
- Deleting Alarms:
- Press the 'Menu' button twice to return to the alarm setting interface.
- Press the 'Setup' button to enter the alarm selection interface.
- Use the '+' or '-' buttons to select the alarm number you wish to delete.
- Press the 'Sleep' button to remove the selected alarm.
- If you do not need to delete additional alarms, press the '+' button to skip; skipping the last alarm will return you to the main interface.

7. Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and hygiene for your pill dispenser:
- Cleaning the Tray: The removable tray can be taken out for easy cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Ensure the tray is completely dry before refilling with medication.
- Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the dispenser with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or submerging the device in water.
- Battery Replacement: Replace the 4 AA batteries when the battery level indicator on the XL LCD Monitor shows low power.
8. Troubleshooting

- Device Stuck / Error Indicator: If the error indicator appears on the LCD, it typically means the device is stuck. Try reinstalling the removable tray correctly. Ensure no pills are obstructing the rotation mechanism.
