5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Camera

Before first use, fully charge the camera. Connect the provided Micro USB data cable to the camera's charging port and the other end to a 5V USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator light will show the charging status.

5.2 Inserting a Memory Card

The camera supports a memory card up to 128GB. Insert a formatted memory card (Class 10 or higher recommended) into the card slot with the contacts facing the correct direction. Ensure the camera is powered off before inserting or removing the card.

5.3 Mounting the Camera

The SQ28 features a built-in strong magnet for direct attachment to metallic surfaces. For other surfaces or specific angles, use the provided base and bracket. The bracket allows for 360-degree rotation for flexible placement.

5.4 Waterproof Case Usage

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the Power button for a few seconds until the indicator light turns on.
• Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for a few seconds until the indicator light turns off.

In video mode, press the Record button once to start recording. The indicator light will flash to indicate recording is in progress. Press the Record button again to stop recording and save the file.

In photo mode, press the Shutter button once to take a photo. The indicator light will flash briefly.
