1. Product Overview

The AIWA Exos Home Speaker is a premium 30W RMS sound system designed for immersive audio experiences. It features a built-in CD player, Bluetooth connectivity, FM radio, and optical digital input, offering versatile audio playback options. 2. What's in the Box

Upon unboxing, ensure all components are present and in good condition.

3. Setup

3.1 Placement

Place the AIWA Exos Home Speaker on a stable, flat surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit to prevent overheating. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.

3.2 Power Connection

  1. Connect the power adapter to the DC IN port on the rear of the speaker.
  2. Plug the power adapter into a standard wall outlet.
  3. Locate the Power On/Off switch on the rear panel and switch it to the 'On' position.

3.3 Initial Power On

Once powered on, the LED display on the front of the unit will illuminate, typically showing the current time or a default mode.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Using the Remote Control

The included IR remote control provides full functionality for the speaker. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the speaker's sensor.

4.2 CD Playback

  1. Press the SOURCE button on the remote or unit until "CD" is displayed.
  2. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the CD tray.
  3. Place a CD (or CD-RW) with the label side facing up into the tray.
  4. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button again to close the tray.
  5. Playback will begin automatically. Use the PLAY/PAUSE, SKIP, and STOP buttons for control.

4.3 Bluetooth Connectivity

  1. Press the SOURCE button until "BT" (Bluetooth) is displayed. The unit will enter pairing mode.
  2. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "AIWA Exos Home" from the list. Once paired, the unit will indicate a successful connection.
  4. You can now stream audio from your device to the speaker.

4.4 FM Radio Operation

  1. Press the SOURCE button until "FM" is displayed.
  2. To auto-scan and save stations, press and hold the SCAN button. The unit will automatically search for and store up to 20 preset stations.
  3. To manually tune, use the TUNE +/- buttons.
  4. To recall preset stations, use the MEM+ / MEM- buttons.

4.5 Optical Digital Input

The optical input allows for enhanced audio from compatible devices like TVs or game consoles.

  1. Connect an optical audio cable (not included) from your external device's optical output to the OPTICAL INPUT port on the rear of the speaker.
  2. Press the SOURCE button until "OPTICAL" is displayed.
  3. Ensure the audio output settings on your external device are configured for optical output.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

To clean the unit, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish. For the display, use a soft, lint-free cloth.

5.2 Storage

If storing the unit for an extended period, disconnect it from the power outlet and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
