Introduction

This document provides instructions for the Generic IR Replacement Remote Control, designed for use with various Pioneer Micro CD Receiver Systems. This remote functions as a direct replacement for your original remote control, offering essential functions for operating your audio system.

Important: Before use, verify that this remote control matches your original remote and is compatible with your specific Pioneer Micro CD Receiver System model. Refer to the list of compatible models in the Specifications section.

Setup

Battery Installation

The remote control requires two (2) AAA batteries for operation. Batteries are not included with this product.

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
  2. Slide the cover downwards or press the latch (if present) to open the compartment.
  3. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
  4. Slide the battery compartment cover back into place until it clicks securely.

Operating Instructions

To operate your Pioneer Micro CD Receiver System with this remote control, ensure there is a clear line of sight between the remote's infrared emitter and the receiver's IR sensor. Point the remote directly at the receiver.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Clean the remote control with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, abrasive materials, or chemical solvents, as these can damage the remote's surface or internal components.

Battery Care

If the remote control will not be used for an extended period (e.g., one month or more), remove the batteries to prevent potential leakage, which can cause damage to the remote.
