4. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to set up your Moving Head Light:
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the fixture from its packaging. Retain the original packaging for future transport or storage.
- Mounting: The fixture can be placed on a flat surface or mounted to a truss using the included mounting bracket and screws. Ensure the fixture is securely fastened and use a safety cable for overhead installations.
- Power Connection: Connect the supplied power cord to the 'POWER IN' port on the back of the fixture and then to a suitable 120V AC power outlet.
- DMX Connection (Optional): If using DMX control, connect a DMX cable from your DMX controller's output to the 'DMX IN' port on the fixture. For multiple fixtures, daisy-chain them by connecting the 'DMX OUT' of the first fixture to the 'DMX IN' of the next.
5. Operating Modes
The MHL-90 Moving Head Light offers several operational modes, selectable via the LCD display and 4-button menu on the front panel:
- Auto Mode: The fixture will run through pre-programmed light shows automatically. The speed of these shows may be adjustable.
