Maintenance
- Cleaning: The dispenser features a detachable design for easy cleaning. Regularly disassemble the food storage container and feeding bowl for thorough cleaning. Use mild soap and water, then rinse and dry completely before reassembly. The stainless steel bowl is rust-resistant and easy to clean.
- Food Freshness: Ensure the lid of the food storage container is always securely closed to maintain food freshness and prevent moisture ingress. The closed drinking outlet design is airtight and does not require additional desiccant.
- Battery Check: If using battery power, check the battery level periodically and replace batteries as needed to ensure continuous operation.
Troubleshooting
- Dispenser Not Powering On:
- Check if the power adapter is securely plugged into both the dispenser and the wall outlet.
- If using batteries, ensure they are inserted correctly and are not depleted. Replace if necessary.
- Food Not Dispensing:
- Verify that the food container has enough food.
- Check for any food jams in the dispensing mechanism. The 45-degree slope design is intended to prevent jams, but large or unusually shaped kibble might occasionally cause issues.
- Ensure the scheduled meal times are correctly set.
- Incorrect Portion Size:
- Re-check the programmed portion settings.
- Note that portion weight (6-10g) can vary slightly depending on the size and density of the pet food.
- Display Not Responding:
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting the power, or removing and reinserting batteries to reset the device.
