5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Gorenje oven.

Cleaning the Oven Interior:

  • AquaClean Function: Pour approximately 0.5 liters of water into a baking tray and place it on the lowest rack. Select the AquaClean function and run for 30 minutes. The steam will soften grease and food residues, making them easier to wipe away with a soft cloth.

  • Do Not Use: Abrasive cleaners, wire wool, or sharp objects, as these can damage the enamel and catalytic surfaces.

Cleaning the Exterior:

  • Wipe the control panel and exterior surfaces with a soft cloth dampened with warm water and a mild detergent.
  • For stainless steel parts, use a specialized stainless steel cleaner.
  • Ensure no water enters the ventilation openings.

Ensure the oven is disconnected from the power supply before attempting to replace the oven light bulb. Consult a qualified technician if you are unsure.
