Setup
1. Inserting SIM and SD Cards
- Locate the SIM card tray on the side of your device.
- Insert the SIM ejector tool into the small hole next to the tray and press gently until the tray pops out.
- Place your Nano SIM card(s) and/or microSD card into the designated slots on the tray, ensuring correct orientation.
- Carefully push the tray back into the device until it clicks into place.

2. Powering On and Initial Setup
- Press and hold the Power button (located on the side) until the Infinix logo appears.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to select your language, connect to a Wi-Fi network, and set up your Google account.
- You will also be guided through setting up security features like fingerprint unlock and face unlock.
Operating Your Device
Basic Navigation
Your Infinix Smart 8 features a 6.6-inch HD+ touchscreen with a 90Hz refresh rate for smooth interaction. Use standard Android gestures:
- Tap: Select an item or open an app.
- Swipe: Navigate between screens, scroll through lists.
- Pinch: Zoom in or out on photos and web pages.
Making Calls and Sending Messages
- Open the Phone app to dial numbers or access contacts.
- Open the Messages app to send and receive SMS/MMS.
Camera Usage
The device is equipped with a 13MP dual AI rear camera and an 8MP front camera. Open the Camera app to capture photos and videos.

Charging the Battery

- Network issues (no signal, cannot connect to Wi-Fi): Check if Airplane mode is off. Restart the device. For Wi-Fi, forget the network and reconnect. For cellular, ensure SIM card is properly inserted.
