3. Installation
Professional installation is recommended. Follow these general steps:
- Mounting Bracket Installation: Secure the mounting bracket to a ceiling joist or an outlet box rated for fan support.
- Downrod Selection: Choose the appropriate downrod length (6, 12, or 24 inches) based on your ceiling height. For ceilings up to 9 feet, use the 6-inch downrod. For 10-foot ceilings, use the 12-inch downrod. For 12-foot ceilings, use the 24-inch downrod. Longer downrods (36, 60, 72 inches) are available for purchase if needed.
- Wiring: Connect the fan's electrical wires to the household wiring according to the wiring diagram provided in the full manual. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Safety Cable Attachment: Attach the safety cable from the fan motor to a secure structural point in the ceiling.
- Blade Attachment: Securely attach each of the 8 aluminum blades to the fan motor housing. Ensure they are firmly fastened to prevent wobbling.
- Canopy Installation: Slide the canopy up to the ceiling and secure it to cover the wiring and mounting bracket.

4. Operation
The fan is controlled using the included remote control.
- Power On/Off: Press the power button to turn the fan on or off.
- Speed Settings: Select from 6 different speed settings to adjust airflow intensity. Speeds 1-2 provide a comfortable breeze, 3-4 offer natural wind, and 5-6 deliver strong cooling.
- Reversible Motor: The fan features a reversible DC motor for year-round use. In summer, set the fan to rotate counter-clockwise for downward airflow to create a cooling effect. In winter, set it to rotate clockwise for upward airflow to circulate warm air.
- Timer Function: Set the fan to operate for 1, 4, or 8 hours using the timer buttons.

- Tightening Screws: Periodically check and tighten all screws on the fan blades and mounting hardware to prevent loosening and wobbling.
- Dust Removal: Dust the fan regularly to prevent accumulation, which can affect performance and motor life.
