5. Installation and Setup

Follow these steps for proper installation of the LEDUPDATES Dimmable LED Driver. Ensure power is disconnected before beginning.

5.1 Wiring Diagram

5.2 Wiring Instructions

  1. Input Wiring (AC 110V-277V):
    • Connect the Black (L) wire from the AC power source to the driver's Black (L) input terminal.
    • Connect the White (N) wire from the AC power source to the driver's White (N) input terminal.
    • Connect the Green (Ground) wire from the AC power source to the driver's Green (Ground) input terminal.
    • Ensure that the branch circuit wiring is a maximum of 12 AWG.
  2. Output Wiring (DC 24V):
    • Connect the Red (+) wire from the driver's output to the positive (+) terminal of your 24V DC LED fixture.
    • Connect the Black (-) wire from the driver's output to the negative (-) terminal of your 24V DC LED fixture.
  3. Dimming Wiring (0-10V Dimmer):
    • Connect the Gray wire from the driver to the 0-10V dimmer's common terminal.
    • Connect the Violet wire from the driver to the 0-10V dimmer's control terminal.
    • For Triac/ELV/MLV dimming, these wires may not be used, or the driver will automatically detect the dimming signal from the AC input. Consult your dimmer's instructions for specific wiring.
  4. Mounting: Securely mount the driver using appropriate hardware. The unit is designed for wall mount applications.

6. Operation

Once properly installed and wired, restore power to the circuit. The LEDUPDATES Dimmable LED Driver will power your 24V DC LED fixtures.
