Important Note: This harness is designed for lower version Toyota/Subaru models WITHOUT factory JBL amplifier systems. It does not include a CAN bus decoder. Always check the pictures of your factory CD player's back connectors to confirm compatibility.

Setup and Installation

Step 1: Prepare Your Vehicle

Step 3: Wiring Specific Functions (SWC and Reverse)

The harness includes dedicated wires for Steering Wheel Control (SWC) and Reverse Camera functions.

• Steering Wheel Control (SWC): Connect the labeled "KEY" wire from the harness directly to your car's steering wheel control cable. This allows your steering wheel buttons to control the aftermarket stereo.

1. Prepare Wires: Carefully tear or strip the PVC jacket from the ends of the wires you intend to connect. If wires are too long, they can be trimmed.
2. Insert Wires: Insert the stripped wire ends into the butt connector. These connectors are suitable for 18AWG-22AWG cables.
