The ArmaLaser TR41 is a state-of-the-art red laser sight specifically designed for the Taurus GX4 pistol. 2. Safety Information

Always prioritize safety when handling firearms and laser devices. Read and understand all instructions before operating the ArmaLaser TR41. This device is an FDA Class IIIa Laser Product. Adhere to the following safety guidelines:

  • Laser Radiation: Avoid direct eye exposure to the laser beam. The laser output is less than 5mW and complies with 21 CFR 1040.10 and 1040.11.
  • Firearm Safety: Always follow all standard firearm safety rules, including keeping the muzzle pointed in a safe direction, keeping your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot, and keeping the firearm unloaded until ready for use.
  • Children: Keep the laser sight and firearm out of reach of children.
  • Maintenance: Ensure the laser sight is properly maintained and functioning correctly. Do not attempt to modify the laser sight.

4. Setup and Installation

The ArmaLaser TR41 is designed for simple, custom installation on your Taurus GX4. Ensure the firearm is unloaded and safe before beginning installation.

4.1. Attaching the Laser Sight

  1. Ensure your Taurus GX4 is unloaded and the chamber is clear.
  2. Align the TR41 laser sight with the frame of your Taurus GX4, ensuring the front of the laser sight slides onto the rail.
  3. Gently push the laser sight into place until it clicks securely. The custom fit design ensures a snug attachment without the need for additional tools for initial mounting.
  4. Verify the laser sight is firmly attached and does not wobble.

4.2. Laser Adjustment (Windage and Elevation)

The TR41 laser sight can be adjusted for windage (horizontal) and elevation (vertical) to zero the laser with your firearm's point of impact. Use the small screwdriver or hex key provided.

  • Windage Adjustment: Located on the side of the laser sight. Turn the screw clockwise to move the laser dot left, and counter-clockwise to move it right.
  • Elevation Adjustment: Located on the bottom of the laser sight. Turn the screw clockwise to move the laser dot down, and counter-clockwise to move it up.
  • Make small adjustments and test fire to achieve desired accuracy.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. GripTouch Activation

The ArmaLaser TR41 features patented GripTouch Activation. The laser automatically turns on when you grasp your firearm normally, and turns off when you release your grip. There are no buttons or switches to operate for basic activation.

5.2. Master Kill Switch and Mode Selection

The TR41 includes a master kill switch to completely deactivate the laser, useful for training with iron sights. It also allows switching between a steady beam and a pulsing beam.

  • Master Kill Switch: Refer to the diagram for the location of the programming button/master kill switch. Press and hold the programming button for a few seconds to toggle the laser on/off, overriding GripTouch activation.
  • Beam Mode Selection: Briefly press the programming button to cycle between steady beam and pulsing beam modes.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Battery Replacement

The TR41 uses a standard battery (included). When the laser beam dims or fails to activate, it's time to replace the battery. The convenient battery door design allows for easy replacement without affecting your laser's zero.

  1. Locate the circular battery door on the side of the laser sight (refer to the diagram in Section 4.2).
  2. Use the small screwdriver to carefully open the battery door.
  3. Remove the old battery and insert a new one, ensuring correct polarity.
  4. Close the battery door securely with the screws.

6.2. Cleaning

Keep the laser lens and body clean for optimal performance. Use the provided cleaning swabs or a soft, lint-free cloth.

  • Gently wipe the laser lens to remove any dust or debris.
  • Clean the body of the laser sight with a damp cloth if necessary. Avoid harsh chemicals.
