1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

  • Do not look directly into the projector lens when the lamp is on. The intense light can cause eye damage.
  • Ensure proper ventilation. Do not block ventilation openings. Overheating can damage the projector.
  • Do not expose the projector to rain, moisture, or extreme temperatures.
  • Use only the power adapter supplied with the projector.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the projector yourself. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
  • Keep the projector away from water and other liquids.

4. Product Overview

The POYBPCY K8 Projector is a compact and versatile device designed for various entertainment and presentation needs. It features a native 1080P resolution, 16000 lumens brightness, 5G WiFi, and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity.

4.1. Ports and Connections

The projector is equipped with multiple ports for versatile connectivity:

  • HDMI Port: Connects to laptops, TV sticks, gaming consoles (e.g., PS5), and other HDMI-enabled devices.

5. Setup

5.1. Placement and Projection Size

Position the projector on a stable, flat surface. The optimal projection distance ranges from 2.6 feet (for a 30-inch screen) to 14.5 feet (for a 200-inch screen). Adjust the distance to achieve your desired screen size.

5.2. Power Connection

Connect the supplied power cable to the projector's power input and then plug it into a wall outlet.

5.3. Electric Focus Adjustment

The POYBPCY K8 features electric focus, allowing for easy clarity adjustment via the remote control. Use the focus buttons on the remote to achieve a sharp image without manual lens manipulation.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Power On/Off

Press the power button on the projector or the remote control to turn the unit on or off.

6.2. Navigation

Use the arrow keys and OK button on the remote control to navigate through the projector's menu and settings.

6.3. Input Source Selection

Select the desired input source (HDMI, USB, Screen Mirroring) from the projector's main menu to display content from your connected devices.

6.4. Wireless Connectivity

6.4.1. 5G WiFi Screen Mirroring (iOS & Android)

The projector supports 5G WiFi for fast and stable screen mirroring from your iOS or Android devices. Follow the on-screen instructions on the projector to connect your smartphone or tablet.

6.4.2. Bluetooth 5.1 Audio Connection

Connect external Bluetooth speakers or headphones to the projector for an enhanced audio experience. Navigate to the Bluetooth settings in the projector's menu, enable Bluetooth, and pair with your desired audio device.

6.5. Image Adjustment

The projector offers various settings to optimize image quality, including brightness, contrast, color, and a 50%-100% zoom function. Adjust these settings via the remote control to suit your viewing environment and preferences.

7. Maintenance

  • Lens Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses to gently wipe the projector lens. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Dust Removal: Regularly clean the ventilation openings with a soft brush or compressed air to prevent dust buildup, which can affect performance and lifespan.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the projector in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use the original packaging or a protective case.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your projector, refer to the table below for common problems and solutions:
