2. Setup and Installation
2.1 Package Contents
Before beginning installation, verify that all items are present in the package:

Note: A power adapter is not included. If PoE is not available, a separate 5V/600mA power adapter is required.
2.2 Physical Installation
- Attach the Stand: Align the stand with the slots on the back of the phone unit and push until it clicks into place. The stand offers two adjustable angles.
- Connect the Handset: Plug one end of the handset cord into the handset port on the phone unit (marked with a handset icon) and the other end into the handset.
- Connect to Network and Power:
- Using PoE (Power over Ethernet): Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the Internet port (marked with INTERNET) on the phone and the other end to a PoE-enabled switch or hub.
- Using a Power Adapter (not included): Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the Internet port on the phone and the other end to your network switch/router. Then, connect a compatible 5V/600mA power adapter (not included) to the power port on the phone and to a power outlet.
- Connect to PC (Optional): If you wish to connect a PC through the phone, connect an Ethernet cable from the PC port (marked with PC) on the phone to your computer's Ethernet port.
Once connected, the phone will power on and begin its boot sequence. The display will show the Yealink logo and then proceed to the main screen.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Basic Call Functions
- Making a Call:
- Pick up the handset, press the Speakerphone button, or press a Line key.
- Enter the phone number using the keypad.
- Press the Dial soft key or the # key.
- Answering a Call: Pick up the handset, press the Speakerphone button, or press the Answer soft key.
- Ending a Call: Hang up the handset, press the Speakerphone button, or press the End Call soft key.
- Hold/Resume: During a call, press the Hold soft key. To resume, press the Resume soft key.
- Mute/Unmute: During a call, press the Mute button to mute your microphone. Press again to unmute.
- Call Transfer: During a call, press the Transfer soft key, dial the new number, and then press Transfer again (for blind transfer) or wait for the other party to answer before pressing Transfer (for attended transfer).
3.2 Advanced Features
- Conferencing: During a call, press the Conf soft key, dial the number of the third party, and then press Conf again to join all parties.
- Do Not Disturb (DND): Press the DND soft key to activate or deactivate Do Not Disturb mode. When active, incoming calls will be redirected to voicemail or busy tone.
- Voicemail: Press the Voicemail button (envelope icon) to access your voicemail messages. Follow the voice prompts.
- Call History: Press the History soft key to view a list of dialed, received, missed, and forwarded calls.
