Setup and Installation
Before installation, ensure the power is turned off at the circuit breaker. It is recommended to have two people for installation due to the size of the fixture.
- Prepare the Mounting Location: Ensure your ceiling junction box is securely mounted and capable of supporting the fixture's weight (approximately 7 lbs).
- Attach Mounting Plate: Secure the mounting plate to the junction box using the provided screws.
- Adjust Hanging Height: The chandelier offers an adjustable hanging height from 36 inches to a maximum of 90 inches. Determine your desired height and adjust the 60-inch chain accordingly. You may need to remove links from the chain.
- Wire Connections:
- Connect the black wire from the fixture to the black (hot) wire from the ceiling using a wire nut.
- Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) wire from the ceiling using a wire nut.
- Connect the ground wire from the fixture to the ground wire from the ceiling (usually bare copper or green) using a wire nut.
- Ensure all connections are secure and tucked neatly into the junction box.
- Secure the Canopy: Slide the canopy up to the ceiling and secure it with the provided hardware, covering the junction box and wiring.
- Install Bulbs: Screw six E12 base bulbs (not included) into the sockets. Do not exceed 40W per bulb.
This chandelier can be installed on sloped ceilings. Ensure the mounting hardware is compatible with your ceiling type.
