Safety Instructions

• Assembly: Ensure all components are present and undamaged before assembly. Assemble the bed on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches. Two people are recommended for assembly.
• Weight Capacity: The maximum recommended load for this bed is 300 Kilograms. Do not exceed this weight limit.
• Hydraulic Mechanism: Exercise caution when operating the hydraulic lift mechanism. Keep hands and fingers clear of moving parts to prevent injury. Ensure the mattress is properly placed before lifting or lowering the frame.
• Children: Keep children away from the bed during assembly and operation of the hydraulic lift.
• Stability: Ensure all screws and fasteners are tightened securely. Periodically check and retighten as necessary to maintain stability.
• Mattress Compatibility: This bed is compatible with a mattress size of 160 x 200 cm. The recommended mattress thickness is less than 25 cm.

Setup and Assembly

Operating Instructions

Hydraulic Lift Storage Function

This bed features a hydraulic lift mechanism for convenient under-bed storage. To access the storage compartment:

1. Remove any items from the top of the bed that might obstruct the lift.
2. Grasp the lifting handle (usually located at the foot end or side of the bed frame).
3. Gently lift the bed frame upwards. The hydraulic pistons will assist in raising and holding the frame in an open position.
4. To close, gently pull the frame downwards. The hydraulic pistons will provide resistance for a controlled descent. Ensure no objects or body parts are in the way as the frame lowers.

Adjustable Headboard

The headboard height can be adjusted by 5 cm (approximately 2 inches) up or down to suit your preference and mattress thickness. This adjustment is typically made during assembly or by loosening specific bolts on the headboard supports, adjusting to the desired height, and then re-tightening securely.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: The upholstered parts of the bed should be dry cleaned only. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as this may damage the velvet fabric. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth.
• Frame Care: Wipe the metal and non-upholstered parts with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals.
• Regular Checks: Periodically inspect all bolts and connections to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary to maintain the bed's structural integrity.

Troubleshooting

• Squeaking Noises: If the bed makes squeaking noises, check all frame connections and ensure they are securely tightened. Lubricating metal-on-metal contact points with a silicone spray can also help.
• Hydraulic Lift Issues: If the hydraulic lift is difficult to operate or does not stay open, ensure the mattress is not excessively heavy for the pistons. Check for any obstructions in the mechanism. If issues persist, contact customer support.
• Missing or Damaged Parts: If you find any parts missing or damaged upon unboxing, do not proceed with assembly. Contact the retailer or manufacturer immediately for replacement parts.
