4. Fueling Instructions

The UDIYO EB808 uses a 2-stroke engine and requires a specific fuel mixture. Always use fresh, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 89 or higher, mixed with high-quality 2-stroke engine oil.

Fuel Mixing Ratio: 25:1 (Gasoline to 2-Stroke Oil)

  1. Fill an approved fuel container with half of the required amount of gasoline.
  2. Add the correct amount of 2-stroke oil for a 25:1 ratio to the gasoline.
  3. Close the container and shake thoroughly to mix the oil with gasoline.
  4. Add the remaining gasoline and remix.
  5. Install the fuel container cap securely and wipe any spilled fuel from the container and surrounding area.

WARNING: Never use straight gasoline or automotive oil. This will cause permanent engine damage and void the warranty.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Starting the Engine

  1. Place the blower on a flat, stable surface.
  2. Move the choke lever to the "FULL CHOKE" position.
  3. Press the primer bulb several times until fuel is visible in the return line.
  4. Pull the starter cord firmly and quickly until the engine attempts to start (usually 1-3 pulls). Do not pull the cord to its full extension.
  5. Once the engine "coughs" or attempts to start, move the choke lever to the "HALF CHOKE" position.
  6. Pull the starter cord again until the engine starts.
  7. Allow the engine to warm up for 30-60 seconds, then move the choke lever to the "RUN" position.

5.2 Using the Blower

  • Adjust the throttle trigger on the control handle to control the blowing speed.
  • Utilize the cruise control feature to maintain a steady blowing speed without continuously holding the throttle, reducing hand fatigue.
  • Direct the air flow towards the debris you wish to clear.

5.3 Stopping the Engine

To stop the engine, simply press the stop button located on the control handle.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your blower.

6.1 Air Filter

  • Check the air filter regularly (every 5-10 hours of operation) and clean or replace if dirty. A clogged air filter can reduce engine performance.

6.2 Spark Plug

  • Inspect the spark plug annually or every 50 hours of operation. Clean any carbon deposits and adjust the gap if necessary. Replace if worn or damaged.

6.3 General Cleaning

  • Keep the blower unit clean, especially the engine cooling fins, to prevent overheating.
  • Store the blower in a dry, well-ventilated area when not in use.
