Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble your BestGlory BG-688 Executive Leather Office Chair. An installation video is provided below for visual guidance.

Step 1: Assemble the Base

1. Take out the Central Base Tube and five Split Base Tubes.
2. Insert each Split Base Tube into the Central Base Tube. Align with the screw holes.
3. Tighten the M6x16 screws using the Hexagon Wrench to secure the base. Repeat for all five tubes.

Step 2: Attach Castors and Air Rod

1. Insert each of the five Castors into the ends of the Split Base Tubes. Ensure they are inserted deeply.
2. Attach the Central Base Buckle to the Central Base Tube.
3. Insert the Air Rod into the central hole of the Central Base Tube.

Step 3: Attach Base Plate to Seat Cushion

1. Place the Seat Cushion upside down.
2. Align the Base Plate with the bottom of the Seat Cushion, ensuring the 'FRONT' sticker on the Base Plate matches the front of the Seat Cushion.
3. Tighten the M6x20 screws firmly using the Hexagon Wrench.

Step 4: Connect Seat Assembly to Base

1. Carefully pick up the assembled Seat Cushion with the Base Plate.
2. Align the hole in the Base Plate with the top of the Air Rod and gently lower the seat assembly onto the Air Rod.

Step 5: Install Armrests and Backrest

1. Secure the two Armrests to the Seat Cushion using the M6x30 screws and Hexagon Wrench. Do not overtighten.
2. Install the Backrest between the seat cushion and the two armrests, tightening the M6x30 screws.
3. Cover the screws with the provided Decoration Caps.

Caution: Do not tighten bolts until the product is fully assembled. After the product is fully assembled, check the screws for tightening. When the armrest is connected to the seat cushion, if the hole position of the armrest is inconsistent with the hole position of the seat cushion, please forcefully align the hole position of the armrest and the seat cushion.

Height Adjustment

To adjust the chair's height, locate the lever on the right side beneath the seat. Pull the lever upwards while seated to lower the chair, or pull it upwards while standing to raise the chair. Release the lever to lock the height.

Reclining and Rocking Function

The chair features a reclining function from 90° to 135° and a rocking mode. To engage the rocking function, pull the lever on the left side outwards. Push it inwards to lock the chair in an upright position. The tension of the rocking function can be adjusted by turning the round knob located under the seat (turn clockwise to tighten, counter-clockwise to loosen).

Adjustable Headrest

The headrest is retractable and can be adjusted to your desired height for optimal neck support. Simply pull up or push down the headrest to set its position.

Flip-Up Armrests

The armrests can be flipped up 90° to allow the chair to slide closer to your desk, saving space. This feature also provides flexibility for different sitting postures.

• Difficulty adjusting height or recline: Check that the respective levers are fully engaged or disengaged. For rocking tension, ensure the tension knob is not overtightened.
• Armrest holes misaligned during assembly: Forcefully align the armrest and seat cushion holes before tightening screws.
