1. Introduction

The ANNKE C1200 12MP PoE IP Camera is a high-performance security solution designed for robust outdoor surveillance. Featuring a 12-megapixel UHD sensor, it delivers exceptionally clear and detailed images, significantly sharper than standard 1080P cameras. This camera incorporates smart dual light technology for versatile night vision, offering both infrared (IR) and full-color night vision modes. Advanced AI-powered human and vehicle detection minimizes false alarms, providing more accurate alerts. 3. Setup Guide

3.1 Physical Installation

The ANNKE C1200 camera is designed for both wall and ceiling mounting. Choose a location that provides the desired field of view and is within reach of your network cable. Use the provided mounting screws and drill template for secure installation.

Ensure the camera is securely fastened to prevent accidental dislodgement. The IP67 rating ensures the camera is dust and weatherproof, suitable for outdoor environments.

3.2 Network Connection

This camera utilizes Power over Ethernet (PoE) for both power and data transmission, simplifying installation. Connect the camera directly to a PoE-enabled NVR or a PoE switch using an Ethernet cable.

Once connected, the camera should automatically power on and establish a network connection with your NVR. Refer to your NVR's manual for specific camera detection and configuration steps.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Accessing the Camera

The ANNKE C1200 camera can be accessed and controlled remotely via the ANNKE APP on your smartphone. Download the official ANNKE APP from your device's app store and follow the in-app instructions to add your camera to your account.

4.2 Smart Detection Features

The camera features advanced AI-powered human and vehicle detection, significantly reducing false alarms caused by irrelevant movements. When human or vehicle motion is detected, the camera can trigger alerts and initiate recording.

4.3 Night Vision Modes

The C1200 offers three night vision modes for optimal surveillance in low-light conditions:

  • IR Night Vision: Default black and white vision using infrared illumination.
  • Color Night Vision: Provides full-color images in low-light environments (above 0.005 Lux) using the camera's smart dual light.
  • Human & Vehicle Triggered Color Mode: Automatically switches from IR night vision to color night vision when human or vehicle motion is detected.

4.4 Storage Options

The camera supports local storage via a microSD card (up to 512GB, not included) and network video recorder (NVR) storage. Using an ANNKE NVR is recommended for extended recording and optimal compatibility.

4.5 Privacy Masking

To protect privacy in sensitive areas, you can configure digital privacy masks within the camera's field of view. These masked areas will not be recorded or monitored.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your ANNKE C1200 camera:

  • Cleaning: Periodically clean the camera lens and housing with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could scratch the lens.
  • Firmware Updates: Check the ANNKE website or APP regularly for firmware updates. Keeping your camera's firmware up-to-date ensures access to the latest features and security enhancements.
  • Cable Inspection: Inspect the network cable and connections for any signs of wear or damage, especially in outdoor installations.

6. Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your ANNKE C1200 camera:

  • No Image/Video Feed:
    • Ensure the camera is properly powered via PoE. Check the network cable connection to both the camera and the NVR/PoE switch.
    • Verify that the NVR or recording device is functioning correctly and configured to detect the camera.
    • Check network connectivity.
  • Poor Image Quality:
    • Clean the camera lens to remove any dirt or smudges.
    • Ensure there are no obstructions in the camera's field of view.
    • Check the resolution settings in your NVR or ANNKE APP; ensure it's set to 12MP for optimal quality.
  • Frequent False Alarms:
    • Adjust the sensitivity settings for human/vehicle detection in the ANNKE APP or NVR interface.
    • Utilize privacy masking to exclude areas with frequent irrelevant motion (e.g., public roads, swaying trees).
  • Night Vision Issues:
    • Ensure the camera's IR lights or spotlights are not obstructed.
    • Check the night vision mode settings in the ANNKE APP to ensure the desired mode (IR, Color, or Triggered Color) is selected.
