4. Setup and Installation

4.1. Flow Direction

These systems require a specific water flow direction for optimal filtration. When facing the system, the inlet is typically on your right and the outlet on your left, ensuring water flows from right to left through the filter stages. If your plumbing setup requires the opposite flow, the housing can be reversed.

Correcting Flow Direction:

1. Place the machine head on a flat surface.
2. Each housing cap is secured by four screws to a metal bracket. For a 3-stage system, there are 12 screws.
3. Remove all screws.
4. Flip and carefully realign the metal bracket with the housing caps to reverse the inlet/outlet orientation.
5. Tighten all screws back into position.

4.2. Plumbing Connections

• The system features 1" NPT inlet/outlet connections.
• It is recommended to install bypass piping with at least one shut-off valve to allow for maintenance without interrupting the main water supply.
• Apply plumber's tape (included) to all threaded fittings to ensure a watertight seal.
• Lightly coat the housing O-rings with plumber's silicone grease before installation to prevent leaks.
