Setup
Powering the Scale
The UNIWEIGH Digital Milligram Scale offers two convenient power options:
- Battery Power: Insert 2 AAA batteries (included) into the battery compartment located on the underside of the scale.
- USB Power: Connect the scale to a USB power source using the provided USB cable.
The scale features an auto-shut-off function that activates after 180 seconds of inactivity to conserve energy.

Leveling the Scale
For accurate measurements, ensure the scale is perfectly level. Use the integrated bubble level and the adjustable feet to achieve a balanced position on a stable, flat surface.

Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
Press the ON/OFF button (
) to turn the scale on or off. The backlit LCD display will illuminate upon activation.
Unit Conversion
The scale supports 6 different weighing units. To switch between units, press the MODE button repeatedly until the desired unit is displayed. Available units include grams (g), ounces (oz), troy ounces (ozt), pennyweights (dwt), carats (ct), and grains (gn).

Tare Function
The Tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container, enabling you to measure only the net weight of the contents. Follow these steps:
- Place the empty container on the weighing pan.
- Wait for the reading to stabilize.
- Press the TARE button. The display will reset to 0.000g.
- Add the item(s) to be weighed into the container. The display will show the net weight of the item(s).

Calibration
Regular calibration ensures the accuracy of your scale. Use the included 50g calibration weight for this process.
- Turn the scale ON and wait for the display to show 0.000g.
- Press and hold the MODE button until "CAL" appears on the display, then release.
- The display will flash "50.000g".
- Carefully place the 50g calibration weight onto the center of the weighing pan.
- The display will show "PASS" and then return to 0.000g, indicating successful calibration. Remove the weight.
For optimal accuracy, perform calibration in a stable environment free from drafts, using the windproof cover.

Counting Function (PCS)
The PCS function allows you to count large quantities of small, uniform items (e.g., pins, screws, beads) by sampling. Follow these steps:
- Turn the scale ON and wait for the display to show 0.000g.
- Place a sample quantity of items (e.g., 25, 50, 75, or 100 pieces) on the weighing pan.
- Press and hold the PCS button until "PCS" appears, then press MODE to select the sample quantity.
- Press PCS again to confirm. The scale is now in counting mode.
- Add more items to the pan, and the display will show the total count.

Maintenance
Cleaning
To maintain accuracy and prolong the life of your scale, clean it regularly. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the surface. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the scale in water. The included small brush can be used to remove dust or small particles from the weighing pan and crevices.
Storage
Store the scale in a dry, stable environment away from extreme temperatures, humidity, and vibrations. Keep the protective cover closed when not in use to prevent dust accumulation and protect the weighing mechanism.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your UNIWEIGH Digital Milligram Scale, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- "LO" or Low Battery Indicator: Replace the AAA batteries or connect the scale via USB.
- "OUE2" or Overload Error: The weight on the pan exceeds the maximum capacity (50g). Remove excess weight immediately to prevent damage.
- Inaccurate Readings:
- Ensure the scale is on a stable, level surface. Use the adjustable feet and bubble level.
- Calibrate the scale using the 50g calibration weight.
- Check for drafts or vibrations in the environment. Use the windproof cover.
- Ensure the weighing pan is clean and free of debris.
- Scale Not Turning On:
- Check battery installation and ensure batteries are not depleted.
