  • Initial Setup: After transport, leave the ice maker upright for at least 24 hours before plugging it in to allow refrigerants to settle.

Setup Instructions

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage.
  2. Stabilization: Place the unit on a firm, level surface. Adjust the four complimentary feet to ensure stability and proper drainage.
  3. Resting Period: Allow the ice maker to stand upright for at least 24 hours before plugging it into a power outlet. This allows the refrigerant to settle, preventing potential damage to the compressor.
  4. Water Connection: Connect the provided water inlet hose to a potable water supply. Ensure the connection is tight to prevent leaks.
  5. Drainage Connection: Connect the drain hose to the designated drain outlet on the back of the unit and route it to a suitable drain. Ensure proper slope for gravity drainage.
  6. Power Connection: Plug the ice maker into a dedicated, grounded 110V AC electrical outlet.
  7. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, it is recommended to run a self-clean cycle or manually clean the ice bin and water reservoir.

Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Press the "Power" button on the LED control panel to turn on the ice maker.
  2. Ice Making Cycle: The machine will automatically begin the ice making process.
  3. Adjusting Ice Thickness: Use the "+" and "-" buttons on the control panel to adjust the ice thickness. There are 6 available sizes, with "6" being the thickest. Each upward adjustment increases the ice making time by approximately 2 minutes.
  4. De-Icing: To initiate a de-icing cycle, press and hold the "+" button for 3 seconds.
  5. Blue Light: The blue light inside the ice bin can be turned off by long-pressing the "-" button.
  6. Ice Full Sensor: The machine will automatically stop producing ice when the ice bin is full and resume once ice is removed.

Self-Clean Function

The ice maker is equipped with a self-clean function for convenient maintenance. Refer to the control panel instructions for initiating this cycle. It is recommended to run this cycle regularly, especially if the machine is used frequently or if water quality is a concern.

Manual Cleaning

  • Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. For stainless steel, use a stainless steel cleaner.
  • Ice Bin: Periodically clean the ice storage bin with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry before use.
  • Water System: For thorough cleaning, it may be necessary to disconnect the water supply and drain the system. Consult a qualified technician for deep cleaning if needed.
  • Condenser Coils: Regularly clean the condenser coils (located at the back or side, depending on the model) with a brush or vacuum cleaner to ensure efficient operation.
