1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the proper use and maintenance of your new Generic Replacement Remote Control. This remote is designed as an infrared (IR) replacement for various Grundig Smart 4K Ultra HD LED HDTV models, including 43GFB6100, 32-GHB-6100-MADRID, TS8187R11, 50GFU7800B, 43GFU7800, 43GFU7800B, and 50GFU7990B. 2. Product Overview

3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

The remote control requires two (2) AAA batteries (not included). Follow these steps to install the batteries:

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
2. Gently slide the battery compartment cover downwards to open it.
3. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
4. Slide the battery compartment cover back into place until it clicks securely.

3.2 Initial Pairing / Setup

This replacement remote control is an infrared (IR) type and typically requires no setup or code programming. Once batteries are installed, it should function directly with compatible Grundig TV models. No additional pairing steps are needed.

4. Operating Instructions

To operate your television using this remote control, point the remote directly at the TV's IR receiver. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV.

• Power On/Off: Press the Power button (red button at the top left) to turn the TV on or off.
• Channel Selection: Use the P+ and P- buttons to cycle through channels. Alternatively, use the numeric keypad to enter a channel number directly.
• Volume Adjustment: Press the Vol+ to increase volume and Vol- to decrease volume.
• Menu Navigation: Use the directional arrow buttons (Up, Down, Left, Right) around the OK button to navigate through TV menus. Press OK to confirm selections.
• App Access: Press the dedicated buttons for Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, or Google Play to launch these applications directly (requires internet connection and app installation on your TV).
• Input Selection: Look for a button labeled Source or Input (often represented by an arrow pointing into a rectangle) to change video inputs (HDMI, AV, etc.).

5.1 Cleaning

To maintain the remote control's appearance and functionality:

• Wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth.
• For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the remote.
• Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaning pads.

5.2 Battery Replacement

Replace batteries when the remote control's response becomes sluggish or stops working. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new AAA batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
