3. Installation Guide

Before beginning installation, ensure your door is compatible with the Luston Slim Smart Lock. The lock is designed for doors with a thickness of 30-80mm and is compatible with 3585 mortise locks. If your existing door handle's downward angle exceeds 45 degrees, it may not be compatible.

  1. Install Mortise: Insert the mortise into the door edge. Ensure the latch bolt direction is correct for your door swing.
  2. Fixed Screws: Secure the mortise with the provided screws.
  3. Install Front Panel:
    • Install Sliding Screws Casing.
    • Install Opposite Pull Screws Casing.
    • Install Square Shaft: Ensure the triangle point on the shaft aligns with the handle direction (left for left-pointing handle, right for right-pointing handle).
    • Install Spring: Use pliers to insert the bolt into the hole and bend its front end to fix the square shaft.
    • Install Waterproof Rubber Plate.
    • Fixed Front: Position the front panel onto the door.
  4. Install Back Panel:
    • Screw Out The Battery Cover.
    • Install Waterproof Rubber Plate.
    • Connect Front And Back Panel Wires: Carefully connect the wiring harness between the front and back panels.
    • Fixed Back Panel: Secure the back panel with screws.
  5. Install Batteries: Insert 4 AAA batteries into the battery compartment.
  6. Test Functionality: After installation, test all unlocking methods and ensure the handle operates smoothly.

4.1 Mobile App Setup and Unlocking

Download the "TTLock" app from your smartphone's app store (available on Android and iOS).

    • Enter a name for your lock and confirm.

    • Choose between Permanent, Timed, One-Time, or Erase passcodes.
    • Generate the passcode and note it down. You can also name the passcode.
    • To unlock, enter the passcode on the lock's keypad followed by '#'.
  5. Add IC Card:
    • In the app, navigate to "IC Cards" and select "Add IC Card".
    • Enter a name for the card and set it as permanent or time-limited.
    • Place the IC card against the card reader sensor on the smart lock until successful.

  • Mechanical Key: Insert the mechanical key into the hidden keyhole and turn to unlock.
