3. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to assemble your PC components within the Corsair 4000D Airflow case.
3.1. Panel Removal
- Side Panel: The tempered glass side panel is hinged and can be opened by pulling the rear edge. It can be fully removed by lifting it off its hinges.
- Front Panel: Gently pull the bottom of the front panel to detach it from the chassis. This provides access to the front fan mounts and dust filter.
- Top Panel: The top mesh panel can be removed by sliding it backward and then lifting it off. This reveals the top fan/radiator mounts.

3.2. Motherboard Installation
Install your ATX motherboard onto the pre-installed standoffs. Secure it with the provided screws.
3.3. Power Supply Unit (PSU) Installation
The PSU is installed at the bottom rear of the case. Slide the PSU into its designated bay and secure it with screws from the rear of the chassis. Ensure proper cable routing through the dedicated channels.
3.4. Storage Drive Installation
The case supports 2x 2.5" SSD mounts and 2x 3.5" HDD trays. Install your SSDs onto the dedicated mounts behind the motherboard tray. The 3.5" HDD trays are located in the PSU shroud area and can be pulled out for easy installation.

3.5. Fan and Radiator Installation
The Corsair 4000D Airflow supports various fan and radiator configurations:
- Front: Up to 3x 120mm or 2x 140mm fans. Supports radiators up to 360mm.
- Top: Up to 2x 120mm or 2x 140mm fans. Supports radiators up to 280mm (dependent on RAM height).
- Rear: 1x 120mm fan.

3.6. Cable Management
The Corsair RapidRoute cable management system simplifies cable routing. Use the dedicated single channel and Velcro straps behind the motherboard tray to organize and secure cables, ensuring a clean interior and optimal airflow.

3.7. Graphics Card (GPU) Installation
Install your graphics card into the appropriate PCIe slot on your motherboard. Ensure it is securely fastened. The case provides ample clearance for most modern GPUs.

4. Operating Instructions
Once all components are installed and connected, close all panels securely. Connect your peripherals and power cable, then press the power button on the front I/O panel to start your system.
4.1. Front I/O Panel
The front I/O panel provides convenient access to essential ports:

Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the exterior of the case. For the tempered glass panel, use a glass cleaner and a microfiber cloth to avoid scratches.
