3. Installation Guide
The TK-X2 offers two installation methods: a clamp mount with screws or a Velcro clip mount. Choose the method that best suits your helmet type and preference.
3.1. Clamp Mount Installation:
- Loosen the screws on the clamp using the provided Allen wrench.
- Slide the clamp between the outer shell and the inner lining of your helmet, positioning it on the left side. Tighten the screws to secure the clamp.
- Slide the TK-X2 main unit onto the clamp until it clicks into place.
- Attach the speaker pads to the inside of the helmet near your ears using the adhesive backing.
- Connect the headphone cable to the TK-X2 unit.
- Route the speaker wires neatly under the helmet lining to the speaker pads.
- Choose the appropriate microphone (boom for open-face/flip-up, button for full-face) and attach it to the helmet. Route the microphone cable to the TK-X2 unit and plug it in.
- Ensure all cables are tucked away and do not interfere with helmet comfort or safety.
3.2. Velcro Clip Mount Installation:
- Clean the surface on the left side of your helmet where you intend to mount the unit.
- Peel the adhesive backing from the Velcro clip and firmly press it onto the helmet surface.
- Attach the TK-X2 main unit to the Velcro clip.
- Follow steps 4-8 from the Clamp Mount Installation for speaker and microphone setup.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Power On/Off:
- Power On: Press and hold the Power button (⏻) for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light turns on and you hear a voice prompt. The device will announce the current battery level.
- Power Off: Press and hold the Power button (⏻) for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light turns off and you hear a voice prompt.
4.2. Bluetooth Pairing with Mobile Phone:
- Ensure the TK-X2 is powered off.
- Press and hold the Power button (⏻) for approximately 5-7 seconds until the indicator light flashes red and blue alternately, indicating pairing mode.
- On your mobile phone, enable Bluetooth and search for "TK-X2".
- Select "TK-X2" from the list of available devices to connect. Once paired, the indicator light will flash blue slowly.
4.3. Intercom Pairing:
The TK-X2 supports intercom communication between two riders up to 1000m. It can connect with up to 3 riders, but only 2 can speak simultaneously. To switch between riders, press the intercom button.
- Ensure both TK-X2 units are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth devices.
- On one unit (Unit A), press and hold the Intercom button (usually the 'S' button or a dedicated intercom button) for 5 seconds until the indicator light flashes red and blue rapidly.
- On the second unit (Unit B), press and hold the Intercom button for 5 seconds until its indicator light also flashes red and blue rapidly.
- The units will automatically search and pair with each other. Once connected, the indicator lights on both units will flash blue slowly, and you will hear a voice prompt.
- To add a third unit, repeat the pairing process between one of the already paired units and the third unit.

4.4. Music Playback:
- Play/Pause: Short press the Power button (⏻).
- Next Track: Short press the Volume Up button.
- Previous Track: Short press the Volume Down button.
