3. Setup and Installation
Professional installation is recommended. Follow these general steps for installation:
- Prepare the Installation Area: Ensure the wall and ceiling are prepared for plumbing and mounting. Turn off the main water supply.
- Install the Rough-in Valve: Mount the pressure balance rough-in valve securely within the wall. Ensure it is level and at the correct depth. The valve features standard NPT 1/2" connections for hot and cold water lines. Connect the hot water to the 'H' inlet and cold water to the 'C' inlet.
- Connect LED Display Wiring: The LED display is hydro-powered. Connect the female and male connectors in the direction indicated by arrows. Incorrect connection will prevent the digital display from working.
- Install Shower Head and Tub Spout: Securely attach the ceiling-mounted shower head and the rotatable tub spout. Apply plumber's tape to threaded connections to ensure a watertight seal.
- Install Handheld Shower: Mount the handheld shower holder and connect the 59-inch stainless steel shower hose to both the handheld shower and the valve outlet.
- Install Trim Plate and Handle: Once all plumbing connections are made and tested for leaks, install the decorative trim plate and the control handle onto the rough-in valve.

4. Operating Instructions
This shower system offers three functions: rain shower, handheld shower, and tub spout. These can be operated simultaneously or individually.
- Water Flow Control: The main handle controls water temperature. Rotate it to adjust between hot and cold.
- Function Selection: Use the push buttons on the diverter valve to select your desired water outlet(s). Pressing a button down activates that function; popping it out deactivates it.
- LED Display: The integrated LED screen displays real-time water temperature (in Fahrenheit) and usage duration. This display is powered by water flow.
- Tub Spout Operation: The tub spout can be rotated 180 degrees to fold away when not in use, saving space and preventing accidental bumps.

5. Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance will help preserve the finish and functionality of your shower system.
- Cleaning the Finish: Use a soft cloth and mild soap or a non-abrasive cleaner specifically designed for brushed gold finishes. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or scouring pads, as these can damage the finish.
- Shower Head Nozzles: The 12-inch rain shower head features soft silicone nozzles. Periodically rub these nozzles to dislodge any mineral buildup and maintain optimal spray performance.
- General Inspection: Periodically check all connections for leaks and ensure all components are securely fastened.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your shower system, refer to the following common solutions:
- No Water Flow: Ensure the main water supply is turned on and the diverter buttons are correctly engaged. Check for any blockages in the water lines or shower head.
- Inconsistent Water Temperature: Verify that both hot and cold water supplies are fully open. The pressure balance valve should regulate temperature, but extreme pressure drops in one line can affect it.
- LED Display Not Working: Confirm that the LED display's wiring connectors are properly and securely connected as shown in the installation diagram. The display requires water flow to operate.
- Low Water Pressure: Check for mineral buildup in the shower head nozzles or aerator. Clean as described in the Maintenance section. Ensure adequate water pressure from your home's main supply.
- Leaks: Tighten any loose connections. If leaks persist, professional assistance may be required to inspect seals or internal components.
