2. Unboxing Your GESHENG S5 V3.0
Carefully unpack your electric bike from its packaging. Ensure all components are present and undamaged before proceeding with assembly.

Upon opening the box, you will find the folded e-bike securely packed with protective materials. Remove all packaging straps and foam inserts carefully to avoid scratching the frame.

3. Assembly Instructions
The GESHENG S5 V3.0 comes 95% pre-assembled. Follow these steps to complete the setup:
3.1 Unfolding the Frame
Locate the folding mechanism on the main frame. Release the safety latch and unfold the bike until the frame locks into its upright position. Ensure the locking mechanism is securely engaged before proceeding.

3.2 Handlebar Installation
Insert the handlebar stem into the front fork tube. Adjust the handlebar to your preferred riding height, ensuring the minimum insertion mark is not visible. Secure the quick-release lever firmly.

3.3 Pedal Installation
Identify the left ("L") and right ("R") pedals. The right pedal screws in clockwise, and the left pedal screws in counter-clockwise. Apply a small amount of grease to the pedal threads before installation. Use the provided wrench to tighten them securely.

3.4 Front Carrier Installation (Optional)
If you wish to install the front carrier, remove the four screws from the front of the bike frame. Align the carrier with the screw holes and re-insert and tighten the screws to secure it.

3.5 Reflector Installation
Attach the front and rear reflectors to the spokes of the wheels. Ensure they are securely fastened and visible from all angles for safety.

3.6 Rear Pedals Installation (Optional)
If you plan to carry a passenger, install the rear foot pegs. Securely attach them to the designated points on the rear frame using the provided screws and tools.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On and Display Functions
Ensure the battery is securely installed and locked. Turn the key to the "ON" position. Press and hold the power button on the LCD display for approximately 2 seconds to power on the bike. The display will show speed, battery level, PAS level, and trip information.

4.2 Headlight and Horn
Activate the bright headlight and horn using the dedicated buttons on the handlebar for improved safety and visibility.

4.3 Gear Shifting
The GESHENG S5 V3.0 features a 7-speed gear shifting system. Use the trigger shifter on the handlebar to change gears, adapting to different terrains and riding conditions for a comfortable and efficient ride.

4.4 Braking System
The bike is equipped with front and rear disc brakes for reliable stopping power. Squeeze the brake levers on the handlebar to engage the brakes. Always apply both brakes simultaneously for balanced stopping.

5. Battery Charging
Your GESHENG S5 V3.0 comes with a powerful 48V 30AH/20AH removable lithium battery. You have two options for charging:
5.1 Charging Directly on the Bike
Connect the charger directly to the charging port on the bike's battery. Ensure the bike is turned off during charging.

5.2 Removing Battery for Charging
To remove the battery, first remove the seat post. Then, use the provided key to unlock the battery from the frame and slide it out. Connect the charger to the battery's charging port. This method allows for convenient charging indoors or away from the bike.

6. Folding Your GESHENG S5 V3.0
The GESHENG S5 V3.0 is designed for easy folding, making it convenient for storage and transport. Follow these steps to fold your bike:
- Lower the seat post to its lowest position.
- Fold the pedals inward.
- Release the quick-release lever on the handlebar stem and fold the handlebar down.
- Locate the main frame folding latch, release it, and fold the bike in half.
- Secure the frame with the safety latch.

7. Maintenance
