1.2 Battery Installation and Charging

The HYPER GO H16PL comes with 2x 2S batteries and 1x 3S LiPo battery, along with a 3S charging cable. Always ensure batteries are fully charged before use. Connect the battery to the charging cable and plug into a suitable USB power source. Charging typically takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes for a full charge. Secure the battery within the designated compartment using the provided straps to prevent movement during operation.

Note: Some users have reported issues with the 3S battery not fitting certain H16PL buggy models. Ensure your model has the correct battery mount for the included 3S battery. The wheelie bar attachment point may require rotation to properly insert screws.

1.3 Remote Controller Setup

Insert 4 AA batteries (not included) into the remote controller. Power on the controller. The controller features steer trim adjustments and speed settings (70% and 100%). The light switch on the controller can activate/deactivate the buggy's headlights.

1.4 Initial Pairing

With the remote controller powered on, ensure the buggy's battery is connected and secured. Power on the buggy. The remote controller and buggy should automatically pair. A solid red light on the controller indicates successful pairing.

2. Operating Instructions

2.1 Driving Controls

Use the steering wheel on the remote controller to turn the buggy left or right. The trigger controls forward and reverse motion. Pull the trigger towards you for acceleration and push away for braking/reverse.

2.2 Speed Modes

The remote controller offers two speed modes: 70% and 100%. For beginners or in confined spaces, the 70% speed mode is recommended. For maximum performance and experienced users, switch to 100% speed. The buggy can reach speeds of 25+ mph (40 kph) with a 2S battery and up to 38+ mph (62 kph) with a 3S LiPo battery under optimal conditions.

2.3 Terrain Handling

The HYPER GO H16PL is designed for various terrains, including off-road environments. Its rubber tires with deep treads provide excellent grip on snow, grass, and sand. The adjustable, oil-filled shocks help absorb bumps, though the buggy may bounce over obstacles rather than smoothly absorbing them. The high-strength composite honeycomb chassis and all-metal CVDs contribute to its durability across different surfaces.

The rear wing provides downforce during rapid acceleration, and the long suspension at the rear helps maintain balance. The wheelie bar is crucial for preventing the buggy from flipping over during high-speed acceleration due to its powerful motor.

3. Maintenance

3.1 Battery Care

Always disconnect the battery when not in use. Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not overcharge or discharge batteries. Use only the original factory data wire for charging. The battery casing is equipped with flame-retardant materials for enhanced safety.

3.2 Cleaning

After off-road use, clean the buggy to remove dirt, dust, and debris. Pay special attention to moving parts like shocks, wheels, and the drivetrain to ensure smooth operation. The body shell can be removed by detaching the four pins for easier access to internal components.

3.3 Component Overview

The buggy features a Hobby 2845 4200KV, 4-pole high-torque brushless motor with a metal heatsink and cooling fans. It has an independent receiver and a 45A ESC. The high-strength composite honeycomb chassis is integrated with all-metal CVDs for maximum rigidity. Metal spur and differential with 16 metal bearings ensure smooth power delivery.

4. Troubleshooting

4.1 Battery Not Fitting

If the 3S battery does not fit, check if your specific H16PL model has an existing built-in battery clip slot on the body tray. Some models may require a different battery or modification to the battery compartment. Ensure the wheelie bar attachment point is correctly rotated to allow for screw insertion if it obstructs the battery tray.

4.2 Car Flipping Over at High Speed

The HYPER GO H16PL is a high-speed buggy. If it frequently flips over during acceleration, ensure the wheelie bar is properly installed. The wheelie bar is designed to prevent the buggy from tipping backward due to its powerful motor. Adjusting the speed to 70% can also help manage control for less experienced drivers.
