1. Introduction

2. Important Safety Instructions

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, read all instructions before using this appliance.

  • Always unplug the vacuum cleaner from the electrical outlet before servicing or cleaning.
  • Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
  • Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.
  • Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer's recommended attachments.
  • Do not use with damaged cord or plug. If appliance is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to a service center.
  • Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close a door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not run appliance over cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
  • Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
  • Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands.
  • Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce airflow.
  • Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
  • Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
  • Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in areas where they may be present.
  • Do not use without dust bag and/or filters in place.
  • Turn off all controls before unplugging.
  • Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.

3. Package Contents

4. Assembly and Setup

Follow these steps to assemble your vacuum cleaner before first use.

  1. Attach the Flexible Hose: Insert the larger end of the flexible hose into the suction inlet on the front of the canister unit until it clicks securely into place.
  2. Connect the Telescopic Wand: Attach the smaller end of the flexible hose to the telescopic wand. Ensure a firm connection.
  3. Attach the Floor Tool: Connect the desired floor tool (e.g., universal floor nozzle) to the end of the telescopic wand.
  4. Check Dust Bag and Filters: Open the canister lid and ensure the dust bag is correctly installed and the filters (foam and HEPA) are properly seated. Refer to the Maintenance section for details on filter installation.

5. Operation

Your Lindhaus HF6 Pro Eco Force is designed for ease of use and powerful cleaning.

5.1 Powering On/Off

  • Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
  • Press the power button located on the top of the canister unit to turn the vacuum cleaner on.
  • Press the power button again to turn the vacuum cleaner off.

5.2 Using Attachments

The HF6 Pro Eco Force comes with various attachments for different cleaning tasks. These are typically stored in an onboard compartment.

  • Crevice Tool: Ideal for narrow spaces, corners, and edges.

5.3 Blowing Function

The HF6 Pro Eco Force includes a powerful blowing function for clearing debris from hard-to-reach areas or inflating items.

  1. Disconnect the flexible hose from the suction inlet.
  2. Locate the blower port, typically on the top or side of the canister unit.
  3. Insert the flexible hose securely into the blower port.
  4. Turn on the vacuum cleaner to activate the blowing function.

5.4 Suction Settings

The vacuum cleaner features 2 power levels to adjust suction strength according to the cleaning task. Use lower settings for delicate surfaces and higher settings for deep cleaning on carpets or heavily soiled areas.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your Lindhaus HF6 Pro Eco Force vacuum cleaner.

6.1 Emptying/Replacing the Dust Bag

The dust bag should be checked regularly and replaced when full or when suction power noticeably decreases. Always use genuine Lindhaus replacement bags.

  1. Unplug the vacuum cleaner from the power outlet.
  2. Open the canister lid.
  3. Carefully remove the full dust bag, ensuring the opening is sealed to prevent dust escape.
  4. Insert a new dust bag, making sure it is properly seated within the bag compartment.
  5. Close the canister lid securely.

6.2 Cleaning/Replacing Filters

The HF6 Pro Eco Force utilizes a multi-stage filtration system, including a foam filter and an optional HEPA filter. Regular cleaning or replacement of these filters is crucial for maintaining air quality and vacuum performance.

  • Foam Filter: This filter protects the motor. It should be cleaned periodically by rinsing under lukewarm water. Allow it to air dry completely before re-installing.
  • HEPA Filter: The HEPA filter captures fine particles and allergens. It is generally not washable and should be replaced according to manufacturer recommendations or when visibly dirty.

Always ensure all filters are dry and correctly installed before operating the vacuum cleaner.

6.3 General Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the vacuum cleaner with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Check the hose and attachments for blockages and clear them as needed.
