4. Operating Instructions

To use your rollator safely and effectively, follow these general operating guidelines:

  1. Walking: Hold the handgrips firmly. Maintain an upright posture, looking forward. Push the rollator slightly ahead of you as you walk, ensuring all four wheels are on the ground.
  2. Braking: Squeeze the hand brakes to slow down or stop. For temporary parking, push the brake levers down until they lock into place. Pull them up to release.
  3. Sitting: Ensure the rollator is on a level surface and the brakes are locked before sitting on the padded seat. Use the sit-to-stand handles for assistance when getting up or sitting down.
  4. Maneuvering: The 8-inch solid wheels allow for easy navigation over various terrains. Utilize the curb climber feature (small metal arm near rear wheels) to assist in overcoming obstacles like curbs and thresholds by pressing it with your foot to lift the front wheels.
  5. Storage/Transport: To fold the rollator, lift the padded seat to access the black bar located above the cargo area. Pull this bar upwards to collapse the frame. Ensure all adjustable components are at their lowest setting for the most compact fold.
