3. Installation and Setup

3.1 Package Contents:

3.2 Mounting the Unit:

1. Choose a suitable vertical mounting location, ensuring sufficient space for water and electrical connections.
2. Mark the drilling points on the wall using the unit as a template.
3. Drill holes and insert appropriate wall anchors.
4. Securely mount the water heater unit to the wall.

3.3 Water Connections:

The unit features a downward water inlet. The inlet and outlet hose connectors are G1/2 size.

1. Connect the cold water supply to the inlet port (typically marked blue or with a 'C').
2. Connect the hot water outlet to the desired fixture (e.g., shower head, faucet) using the provided outlet pipe (typically marked red or with an 'H').
3. Ensure all connections are tightened securely to prevent leaks.
4. Open the cold water supply valve and allow water to flow through the unit and out of the hot water tap until all air is purged from the system. This is crucial before electrical connection.

3.4 Electrical Connections:

WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Electrical work must be performed by a qualified electrician.

• Ensure the power supply is OFF at the main breaker before making any electrical connections.
• The unit requires a 110V, 60Hz power supply.
• Wire requirements: Sub wire 2.5mm² copper core special wire, Main wire 4mm² copper core special wire.
• Connect the live (brown), neutral (blue), and ground (yellow/green) wires from your electrical supply to the corresponding terminals on the water heater.
• Install the leakage protector as per local electrical codes and manufacturer instructions.
• Once all connections are secure and verified, restore power at the main breaker.

4. Operating Instructions

The LEYSRIS SL-X1-60 features a user-friendly touch control interface and a large LED display.

4.1 Powering On/Off:

• After successful installation and power connection, the unit will enter standby mode.
• Press the Power button (often indicated by a circle with a vertical line) to turn the unit on or off.

4.2 Setting Temperature:

• Once powered on, the LED display will show the current water temperature or the last set temperature.
• Use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) touch buttons to adjust the desired water temperature. The temperature range is up to 55°C / 131°F.
• The intelligent frequency conversion thermostat will automatically adjust heating power to maintain the set temperature.

4.3 Water Flow Activation:

• The heater will activate automatically when water flow is detected and the unit is powered on.
• Ensure sufficient water pressure for optimal performance.
