2. Setup and Installation
2.1 Charging the Camera
Before initial use, fully charge the SoloCam C210. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the camera's charging port and a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The LED indicator will show charging status and turn solid blue when fully charged.
2.2 App Download and Account Creation
Download the eufy Security app from your device's app store (iOS App Store or Google Play Store). Create a new account or log in with an existing one.
2.3 Adding the Camera to the App
- Open the eufy Security app.
- Tap the "+" icon to add a new device.
- Select "SoloCam C210" from the list of devices.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the camera to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. Ensure your Wi-Fi signal is strong at the installation location.
- If you have a HomeBase 3, you can choose to connect the camera to it for enhanced features and storage.

2.4 Mounting the Camera
Choose a mounting location that provides an optimal view and strong Wi-Fi signal. The camera is IP67 rated for outdoor use.
- Mark the drilling positions using the mounting bracket as a template.
- Drill holes and insert the wall anchors if mounting on a masonry surface.
- Secure the mounting bracket to the wall with the provided screws.
- Attach the camera to the mounting bracket and adjust the angle for desired coverage.

3. Operating the Camera
3.1 Live View and Recording
Access the live view of your camera through the eufy Security app. You can manually record footage or rely on the camera's motion detection to trigger recordings. The camera supports 2K resolution for clear video capture.

3.2 Motion Detection and AI Alerts
The SoloCam C210 utilizes on-device AI to differentiate between humans and other moving objects, such as animals or swaying branches. This significantly reduces false alerts. You will receive notifications on your smartphone only when human activity is detected.

3.3 Local Storage
The camera includes 8GB of built-in local storage, providing up to 3 months of video recordings without any recurring fees. This ensures your data remains private and secure on the device.

Use the two-way audio feature through the app to communicate with visitors or deter unwanted guests.
