5. Setup Instructions

  1. Choose a Location: Select a dry, cool, and well-ventilated area for the inverter. Ensure it is securely mounted using the integrated stand-off brackets.
  2. Connect to Battery:
    • Ensure the inverter is turned off.
    • Connect the red (positive) battery cable to the positive (+) terminal of the inverter and then to the positive (+) terminal of your 12V battery.
    • Connect the black (negative) battery cable to the negative (-) terminal of the inverter and then to the negative (-) terminal of your 12V battery.
    • Tighten all connections securely.

  3. Grounding: Connect a grounding wire from the inverter's grounding terminal to a proper earth ground.

  4. Connect Remote Control (Optional): If using the remote control, plug its cable into the designated port on the inverter.
  5. Initial Power On: Once all connections are secure, turn on the inverter using the power switch. The LCD display should illuminate.

6. Operating Instructions

The CAPTOK 2000W inverter is designed for straightforward operation. Follow these steps to power your devices:

  1. Power On: Ensure the inverter is connected to a 12V battery. Press the ON/OFF switch on the inverter or the remote control to turn it on. The LCD display will show operational data.
  2. Monitor Display: The LCD screen on both the inverter and the remote control provides critical information:
    • DC IN: Input voltage from the battery.
    • AC OUT: Output AC voltage.
    • TEMPERATURE: Internal temperature of the inverter.
    • LOAD: Current power consumption in Watts.
    • BAT: Battery level indicator.
    • SERVICE HOURS: Total operating time.

  3. Connect Devices: Plug your AC appliances into the 120V AC outlets. For USB-powered devices, use the 5V 2.4A USB port or the 30W Type-C port.

  4. Power Off: When finished, turn off the inverter using the ON/OFF switch. Disconnect appliances before disconnecting the inverter from the battery.
