4. Setup

1. Unpack and Inspect: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure no parts are missing or damaged.
2. Install Side Brushes: Snap the two side brushes into their designated slots on the underside of the robot until they click into place.
3. Position the Charging Station: Place the charging station against a wall in an open area, ensuring there are no obstacles within 1 meter (3 feet) to the sides and 2 meters (6 feet) in front. Connect the power adapter to the charging station and plug it into a wall outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Starting a Cleaning Cycle

• Manual Start: Press the power button on the robot or the "Clean" button on the remote control to start a cleaning cycle.
• App Control: Open the Anodex app on your smartphone. Select your robot and tap "Start Cleaning" to initiate a cycle. You can also set cleaning schedules.

5.2 Mopping Function

To use the mopping function:

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your Anodex JK-F4S.

6.1 Emptying the Dustbin

• Press the dustbin release button and pull out the dustbin.
• Open the dustbin cover and empty its contents into a trash can.
• Clean the filter by gently tapping it or using a cleaning brush. Do not wash the filter with water unless specified.
• Reinsert the dustbin and filter into the robot.

6.2 Cleaning Brushes

• Side Brushes: Regularly check for tangled hair or debris. Gently pull them off and clean. Reattach them securely.
• Main Brush: Remove the main brush cover and lift out the main brush. Use the cleaning tool to remove tangled hair and debris. Reinstall the main brush and cover.

6.3 Cleaning Sensors and Charging Contacts

• Wipe the cliff sensors, anti-collision sensors, and charging contacts on both the robot and the charging station with a clean, dry cloth. This prevents navigation issues and ensures proper charging.

6.4 Cleaning the Mop Pad and Water Tank

• After each mopping session, remove the mop pad and wash it with water. Allow it to air dry completely before reuse.
• Empty any remaining water from the water tank and rinse it. Allow it to air dry.

7. Troubleshooting

• Robot does not turn on:
