3.1 Front Panel Controls and Inputs

  • Power Switch: Turns the amplifier on or off.

  • AC 90-240V Power Input: For connecting the AC power cord.

4. Setup

4.1 Power Connection

  1. Ensure the amplifier's power switch is in the 'OFF' position.
  2. Choose your power source:
    • AC Power: Connect the provided AC power cord to the AC 90-240V input on the rear panel, then plug it into a wall outlet.
    • DC Power: Connect a 12V/5A DC power adapter (not included) to the DC 12V input on the rear panel.

4.2 Speaker Connection

  1. Connect your passive speakers to the 'SPEAKERS OUTPUT' terminals on the rear panel.
  2. Ensure correct polarity: connect the positive (+) terminal of the amplifier to the positive (+) terminal of the speaker, and the negative (-) terminal of the amplifier to the negative (-) terminal of the speaker.
  3. The amplifier supports speakers with an impedance of 4-16 Ohms.

4.3 Audio Input Connection

The AK45 amplifier offers multiple ways to connect audio sources:

  • Bluetooth: For wireless connection from smartphones, tablets, or computers.
  • USB/SD Card: For playing audio files directly from flash drives or SD cards.
  • AUX (RCA Audio Input): For wired connection from CD players, DVD players, TVs, or other devices with RCA audio output.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

Flip the 'POWER' switch on the front panel to the 'ON' position to turn on the amplifier. Flip it to 'OFF' to power down.

5.2 Mode Selection

Press the 'MODE' button on the front panel or the remote control to cycle through available input modes: Bluetooth, USB, SD, AUX, and FM radio. The current mode will be displayed on the screen.

5.3 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Switch the amplifier to Bluetooth mode using the 'MODE' button. The display will show 'BLUE' or a similar indicator.
  2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select 'BT' (or similar name) from the list of devices to pair. No password is required.
  4. Once paired, you can play audio from your device through the amplifier. Keep a distance of 10 meters without obstacles for optimal connection, or 5 meters if connecting to a TV or computer.

5.4 USB/SD Card Playback

  1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port or an SD/MMC card into the SD card slot.
  2. The amplifier should automatically switch to USB or SD mode and begin playing audio files. If not, press the 'MODE' button to select the correct input.
  3. Use the 'Previous', 'Next', and 'Play/Pause' buttons on the front panel or remote control to manage playback.
  4. The 'Loop Mode' button allows you to repeat tracks.

5.5 FM Radio Operation

  1. Ensure the FM antenna is connected to the rear panel.
  2. Switch the amplifier to FM mode using the 'MODE' button.
  3. The amplifier can automatically scan and store over 20 radio stations. Use the 'Previous' and 'Next' buttons to navigate through stored stations.

5.6 Microphone Usage

  1. Connect up to two microphones to the 'MIC1' and 'MIC2' 6.5mm input jacks on the front panel.
  2. Adjust the microphone volume using the 'MIC/VOL' knob.

5.7 Tone Control

Use the 'TREBLE' and 'BASS' knobs on the front panel to adjust the high and low frequencies of the audio output, respectively. This allows for fine-tuning the sound to your preference.

5.8 Volume Control

The 'VOLUME' knob on the front panel controls the master output volume of the amplifier. Rotate clockwise to increase volume and counter-clockwise to decrease.

5.9 Remote Control Usage

The included remote control allows for convenient operation from a distance. Ensure the insulating plastic tab at the bottom of the remote is removed before first use. The remote can control power, mode selection, volume, track navigation, and equalization settings.

6. Troubleshooting

  • No Power: Check if the power cord is securely connected and the power switch is 'ON'. Verify the power outlet is functional.
  • No Sound:
    • Ensure speakers are correctly connected and their volume is not muted.
    • Check the amplifier's master volume and input source volume.
    • Verify the correct input mode is selected (Bluetooth, USB, SD, AUX).
    • If using Bluetooth, ensure the device is paired and within range.
  • Distorted Sound:
    • Reduce the volume of the amplifier or the input source.
    • Check speaker connections for loose wires or incorrect polarity.
    • Ensure speaker impedance is within the supported 4-16 Ohm range.
  • Bluetooth Connection Issues:
    • Ensure the amplifier is in Bluetooth mode.
    • Move your Bluetooth device closer to the amplifier (within 10 meters, or 5 meters for TV/PC).
    • Turn off and on Bluetooth on your device, then try pairing again.
    • Clear previous Bluetooth pairings on your device if necessary.
  • USB/SD Card Not Playing:
    • Ensure the USB drive or SD card is inserted correctly.
    • Verify the audio files are in a compatible format.
    • Check if the amplifier is in USB or SD mode.
  • Remote Control Not Working:
    • Ensure the insulating plastic tab has been removed from the battery compartment.
    • Check the battery in the remote control and replace if necessary.
    • Point the remote directly at the amplifier's remote sensor.
